What a wonderful start to the Christmas festivities....!

A most pleasing number of people braved the bitter cold of the mid-December evening to join us for this special service, bringing together representatives of all the professional firms and bodies in the area in celebration of Christmas.

The service was, once again, held in The Liverpool Parish Church of Our Lady in St Nicholas, at Pier Head, from 5:30 p.m.  As has become our tradition, there is simply no better way to enter into the festivities and prepare for Christmas than by listening to traditional readings and contemporary poetry, and by joining in with some of the nation’s most favourite carols in this special service.

The St Nicholas Singers under the direction of Stuart Keen, delighted those present with their vocal mastery, most ably accompanied by organist Derek Sadler.

Following the service, refreshments of wine and mince pies rounded the evening off very nicely, thank you very much!
