Overview of services

Founded in 1827 the Liverpool Law Society boasts 1,950 or so members in practice within the Merseyside area. It is one of the largest law societies in England and Wales.  

Membership is broad and varies from practitioners engaged in high value commercial work to complex charity work.

The Society prides itself at being at the forefront of debate and has been able to communicate on behalf of its members their concerns in a number of areas both public and professional.

The benefits of membership are numerous and include access to one of the country’s top law libraries.

Liverpool Law Society was founded 180 years ago in Liverpool and has over 2000 members.  Liverpool is a forward-thinking city with an excellent business environment.  Like professionaliverpool, which excels in promoting the business activities of the City, we also aim to improve the image of professionals working here and to provide networking events with other professionals so that we can work together for the benefit of the region.
